This policy is published by LBDC Organisation (“Smatchy”), a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) registered with the Annecy Trade and Companies Register under number 839 338 514, with its registered office at 5 rue de l'Industrie, 74000 Annecy, France. It explains which cookies are used on the smatchy.app website and how you can control them. This English translation is provided for convenience; only the French version is authoritative.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit. It can, for example, remember your preferences or measure the site's audience.
How do we collect your consent?
On your first visit, a banner lets you “Accept”, “Deny” or “Personalize” the placing of non-essential cookies. No non-essential cookie is placed, and no audience measurement tool is loaded, until you have given your consent. Your choice is stored for 6 months in a technical cookie (“smatchy_consent”). You can change it at any time via the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page.
The cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookie. “smatchy_consent” records your cookie choices (duration: 6 months). It is essential to the operation of the consent mechanism and does not require your consent.
Audience measurement cookies, Google Analytics (subject to your consent). If you accept them, Google Analytics places cookies (“_ga”, “_ga_*”, maximum duration: 13 months) that allow us to measure the site's audience and understand how it is used in order to improve it. This data is processed by Google; any transfers outside the European Union are governed by the safeguards provided by the GDPR. If you refuse, no audience measurement cookie is placed and no data is sent to Google.
The site does not use any advertising cookies.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer, or delete cookies in your browser settings. Refusing audience measurement cookies has no impact on your browsing.
