You apply from the app, in your profile: request to switch to professional and attach the documents matching your status. Our team reviews your file, then activates pro mode on your account. You can then publish your first event and open ticket sales. The form on the website is only there to get in touch beforehand, if you want to talk things through before getting started.

Nothing. Access is free, with no subscription and no sign-up fee. Smatchy only earns on completed sales, with a 10% commission on ticketing: you keep 90% of every ticket.

Funds from tickets sold are held securely by Stripe in your Smatchy wallet. The payout is triggered as soon as your balance reaches 100 euros, which is about a dozen participants on a 10 euro ticket. The transfer then shows on your statement within a few business days.

Yes. Professional mode forces nothing on you: you can keep publishing free activities. The 10% commission only applies to tickets actually sold.

Yes, as long as the event has not taken place. Participants already registered are notified of the change automatically. If you cancel a paid event, they are fully refunded, regardless of notice.

From your Smatchy wallet, in the app. You manage your paid events there, track ticket sales and check your earnings in real time. Funds are held securely by Stripe, then paid out as soon as your balance reaches 100 euros. If you need help, our team is available at every step.

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

Accepted Answer

Refunds follow the cancellation conditions set out in our Terms of Sale: cancel more than 48 hours before the activity for a 100% refund; between 48 and 24 hours before, a 70% refund; less than 24 hours before, or in the event of a no-show, no refund. If the event is canceled by the organizer, you are fully refunded regardless of notice. Refunds are processed by Stripe through the original payment method and may take a few business days to appear on your bank statement.

Which documents do I need to provide?

It depends on your profile. A non profit association provides its official registration receipt with its RNA number, plus a mandate. A company or an incorporated club provides its company registration document (Kbis) and a mandate. A sports coach provides a diploma and proof of insurance. A professional athlete provides their pro athlete card. You upload these documents directly in the app, when you send your request.
